Take a Stitch Tuesday

Today I learned how to do the rope stitch from sharon B at http://pintangle.com/  It is quite an easy stitch really and I enjoyed doing it.  I will definitely use it more.  It isn't all that easy to see in the photo above as I used a thread that match the fabric.  Oh well, I know it is there!

Slow Stitching Sunday

  I am on a scroll roll.  This is the second one I started this week.  I love the soft romantic feel of these pieces.  I love working with bright and cheerful colours but occasionally I have to play with a different set of colours.   These scrolls are coming together faster than I thought they would.  That also feels good.   Sometimes I need a project that can be completed quickly.
