Take a stitch Tuesday
Here I tried the Bullion Vandyke stitch. Instructions for it can be found at http://pintangle.com/2014/06/10/116-and-117-beaded-vandyke-and-bullion-vandyke-stitch/
I don't think I have it right. I don't like it well enough to persist in trying to get it right. I can't see myself using it. I also picked out the beaded Vandyke stitch I did last week. I thought the beads were too big but I also just didn't like the way the stitch looks with beads. I can see that I would use the regular Vandyke stitch but not the variations.

Rest assure you are not the only one who has had problems with these two stitches! They made me so frustrated, and I am wondering if I should try mastering them again or just give up!
ReplyDeleteit is a hard stitch to work with. After sometime, the fingers get tired. still the stitches don't look neat. try them again you'll get it,All the best!
