Work in Progress

Two steps backward but one big step forward.  I wasn't happy with the beaded Vandyke stitch I had done on this piece so I picked it out.  I also wasn't happy with the beading done on the shibori ribbon so I picked that out.  I really don't like to pick out stitching.  I guess no one likes it.  Still I am glad that I did it.

I added a ton of beads to the top seam.  It took a few hours but it was enjoyable.  I find the handwork relaxing.

  1. Unpicking might be no fun, but often it is worth doing to get the result one wants.
There is so much lovely structure in this block.
