Take a stitch Tuesday Alternating Up and Down Buttonhole Stitch

I used Glisten Gloss Sundance thread to stitch this.  It was absolutely miserable to pull through the fabric.  However, I persisted and got it done.  I do like the way it looks so I guess it was worth it.

    It is interesting to see the spacing you have; my Up and Down Buttonhole stitches usually look like V. I imagine my Alternating Up and Down Buttonholes will be a barbed wire!

    This is a great stitch to play around with. There are so many different variations and I like your one.

Slow Stitching Sunday

  I am on a scroll roll.  This is the second one I started this week.  I love the soft romantic feel of these pieces.  I love working with bright and cheerful colours but occasionally I have to play with a different set of colours.   These scrolls are coming together faster than I thought they would.  That also feels good.   Sometimes I need a project that can be completed quickly.
