More distressed paper and sheer fabric

I love when a technique inspires me to take it further.  Here I found a pattern for a dragonfly and played with it.  I used Inktense blocks to paint the paper, rather than acrylic paints.  I also added some shimmer with a silver metallic Pan pastel.  A few different layers of sheer fabric were added behind the paper.

  2. Sorry, Susan, I could not find a link. Here is a description of Judy Farrow's workshop Take a Leaf. http://www.canadianquilter.com/pdf/2012-CQA-Handbook-14-32.pdf I wouldn't feel comfortable posting the specfics as it is not my original workshop.
