Further experiments


Since I have a lovely new sewing machine that has oodles of different stitches I thought I should try out some of them.  Stitching on a layer of paper with a couple layers of sheer fabric has a lot of potential.

    I haven't given my embroidery stitches on the machine a chance yet. I sometimes feel very irritated as they take so much longer to stitch than the ordinary straight stitches.
    As always you have made a good choice of colours.

Slow Stitching Sunday

  I am on a scroll roll.  This is the second one I started this week.  I love the soft romantic feel of these pieces.  I love working with bright and cheerful colours but occasionally I have to play with a different set of colours.   These scrolls are coming together faster than I thought they would.  That also feels good.   Sometimes I need a project that can be completed quickly.
