Work in Progress Wednesday

My crazy quilt block for the month of March is taking shape.   I have about half of the seams stitched.  I have a bead journal ready to go into the center.  I am aiming for a summery feeling for this block.

    Here is another beautiful Dresden Plate with 'heavy duty' embroidery. Looking forward to the addition of the centre; I know it will be lovely.

Slow Stitching Sunday

  I am on a scroll roll.  This is the second one I started this week.  I love the soft romantic feel of these pieces.  I love working with bright and cheerful colours but occasionally I have to play with a different set of colours.   These scrolls are coming together faster than I thought they would.  That also feels good.   Sometimes I need a project that can be completed quickly.
