Taking a stitch Tuesday

Here I tried the seam treatment taught by Valerie on the Facebook group Joyful Embellishments.  It is the chevron stitch with lazy daisy.   I have not been very good at combining stitches so this is teaching me a lot.  I am always glad to learn new things!

    Isn't it nice to be able to use the combination of two, or more, stitches that one has already learned, but only used on its own?!
    The Lazy Daisy goes well with the tatting pattern.

Slow Stitching Sunday

  I am on a scroll roll.  This is the second one I started this week.  I love the soft romantic feel of these pieces.  I love working with bright and cheerful colours but occasionally I have to play with a different set of colours.   These scrolls are coming together faster than I thought they would.  That also feels good.   Sometimes I need a project that can be completed quickly.
