Work in Progress Wednesday

I am amazed that I found time to work on this piece in the last week.  Getting ready for quilt festival has been busy!  I hate going backwards but I learned with this piece that sometimes you really have to do it.  There was a ton of french knots I had to remove.  The color of embroidery thread I used wasn't right.  So that has been corrected and I am happier with it now.  I also added some stitching and ribbon to lower portion.

Slow Stitching Sunday

  I am on a scroll roll.  This is the second one I started this week.  I love the soft romantic feel of these pieces.  I love working with bright and cheerful colours but occasionally I have to play with a different set of colours.   These scrolls are coming together faster than I thought they would.  That also feels good.   Sometimes I need a project that can be completed quickly.
