Work in Progress Wednesday

I am not sure how the week flew past.  It took me that long to get to the last module of in the first workshop.  I am not overly excited with the the lace medallion but the other pieces I like.  These laces were painted with acrylic paints that were diluted with rubbing alcohol.  Something I have never tried previously.

    The yarn is so pretty, Angela. I wonder if you would like the medallion more if it had a different coloured "frame".

Slow Stitching Sunday

  I am on a scroll roll.  This is the second one I started this week.  I love the soft romantic feel of these pieces.  I love working with bright and cheerful colours but occasionally I have to play with a different set of colours.   These scrolls are coming together faster than I thought they would.  That also feels good.   Sometimes I need a project that can be completed quickly.
