I used my Prismacolor pencil crayons and few markers to color this image. I tried to focus on blending and think I did alright. Please feel free to print this image and color it.
Very close to the end of November but this is my start on my CQ block for the month. I think I have a shot at getting finished as I don't have much on plate at the moment. I am ready for some quiet stitching time! These are definitely not my typical colors. I do like the look of this though. I have added the Whipped Double Chain that Sharon B. at http://pintangle.com/ showed. I decided to add a bead to the whipped part. Beads are always good! I have been too busy to be able to participate in Take a Stitch Tuesday with Sharon B at pintangle.com for a while. It felt good to do the the Butterfly Chain Stitch today. I think it worked rather well stitching onto the handmade paper. The paper is in fact pink with silver fleck but the camera didn't capture that properly.
Flowers are absolutely fascinating to me. I wish I had a lens that would take microscopic images! I am linking with http://anenglishgirlrambles.blogspot.ca/2015/11/todays-flowers-373-november-20th-2015.html http://image-in-ing.blogspot.ca/
There is still a fair amount to do on this but it is coming along. I am enjoying the process. I am linking with http://ninamariesayre.blogspot.ca/ http://www.supermomnocape.com/
So glad we haven't had any snow yet. I had a lot fun coloring this snowflake design. I used Inktense pencils and some metallic ink to add details. Please feel free to print and color this design.
This butterfly has been machine stitched, hand stitched and hand colored. It is becoming a doodle cloth as I keep adding more marks. I am having fun trying out different media on it. I have used Prismacolor pencil crayons, Smooch Ink, Caran d'ache watercolor crayons and Inktense. I think it might be ready for some beading now. A simple design this week. Sometimes it is nice to have something a little bit easy to do. I used watercolor pencils and Smooch Ink. I love the shimmer of Smooch Ink. As always, please freely enjoy coloring this!
This is one of those pieces that has been hanging around for a while. I created it with the intention of doing some bead embroidery on it. Today I added some Smooch Ink to it in places to add some glimmer because beads weren't going to add enough right? I am linking with http://needleandthreadnetwork.blogspot.ca/
When I first glanced at this flower I would have called it white. That is not how I would describe it after photographing it with my macro lens! That is what I love about macro it makes me see things in a new way and that is always good. I am linking with http://anenglishgirlrambles.blogspot.ca/ http://image-in-ing.blogspot.ca/
I am having trouble getting my crazy quilt projects done on time each month. At the beginning of the year I had a clear vision as to what I wanted to get done. Due to that I was able to get my blocks finished quickly for the first four months. Since then I have been floundering. I am persisting though. There are only two blocks left to do for the year. I can do it! I am linking with http://ninamariesayre.blogspot.ca/ http://www.supermomnocape.com/
Click on the top image to print it. The image below is my coloring of that mandala. I used Sharpie markers and Smooch inks. Smooch inks have amazing glimmer but I did not capture it very well. Possibly you can see it in the center gold part. Jo has posted her lovely coloring of my mandalas at http://stitchability.blogspot.ca/2015/11/this-and-that.html Check it out.
This is a hyperbolic crochet piece done in 100% wool. I am wanting to felt it now. Curiosity gets the better of me sometimes! I am linking with http://needleandthreadnetwork.blogspot.ca/
I struggled with this stitch. For some reason I just couldn't get it to stick in my head. I started out trying it on paper as is my practice this time around with Take a Stitch Tuesday. I just couldn't get it to work. Now I have done it on my October CQ block. Yes, I am running behind. At least I had time to give this stitch a try. Pintangle
