Work in Progress Wednesday


Very close to the end of November but this is my start on my CQ block for the month.  I think I have a shot at getting finished as I don't have much on plate at the moment.  I am ready for some quiet stitching time!  These are definitely not my typical colors.  I do like the look of this though.  I have added the  Whipped Double Chain that Sharon B. at http://pintangle.com/ showed.  I decided to add a bead to the whipped part.  Beads are always good!

    You have created your own version of the Whipped Double Chain by adding beads. The colours are lovely!

    This work is very pretty, I like the added bead to the Whipped Double Chain, makes all the difference.

Slow Stitching Sunday

  I am on a scroll roll.  This is the second one I started this week.  I love the soft romantic feel of these pieces.  I love working with bright and cheerful colours but occasionally I have to play with a different set of colours.   These scrolls are coming together faster than I thought they would.  That also feels good.   Sometimes I need a project that can be completed quickly.
