October Crazy Quilt

I am having trouble getting my crazy quilt projects done on time each month.  At the beginning of the year I had a clear vision as to what I wanted to get done.  Due to that I was able to get my blocks finished quickly for the first four months.  Since then I have been floundering.  I am persisting though.  There are only two blocks left to do for the year.  I can do it!

I like the way you work texture into your blocks. You have a lot going on in your blocks, and that takes a lot more energy, I think, when you are stitching!

I think it's always easier in the beginning - new, fresh ideas keep pouring in. This is my fourth year with CQJP, and every year, the last months are much harder! It's still satisfying, though, so I'll do it again if Kathy continues. I already have a theme picked out for 2016.

Glad to see you found a use for the beetle wings!

This is really pretty! I love all the beading that you've added to it.

And I know what you mean... at the beginning of the year I was getting the things checked off my list each month but as the year progressed it got more difficult to do that it seemed. But you can do it!!

Only two more months and we can start new lists. :)

Thanks so much for linking up to last week's Stitchery Link Party and for linking back. Aloha hugs!
