Some experiments are more successful than others


I made paper this past week.  I incorporated some thread bits in it and really like the way that looks, top photo.  The bottom photo shows the web of paper I made.  Not too happy with that mess, that's for sure.  Possibly I can cut out small parts of it and make use of it that way.  I can imagine doing another mixed media bead journal and incorporating it into that.

    I made paper for years then got ore into quilting. I hae been thinking lately, now that I am more into fiber art, how to merge paper into quilts.

    (how come I never have any NEW ideas?????)

Slow Stitching Sunday

  I am on a scroll roll.  This is the second one I started this week.  I love the soft romantic feel of these pieces.  I love working with bright and cheerful colours but occasionally I have to play with a different set of colours.   These scrolls are coming together faster than I thought they would.  That also feels good.   Sometimes I need a project that can be completed quickly.
