Work in Progress Wednesday

Finally getting started on my bead journal for February.  Not a bead in sight as yet.  I am working on a needle felted base and going for a mixed media approach on this one.  I really enjoy the mixed media feel.  Can't wait to start beading!

    Oooh! I love the base you've created! I've been toying with needle felting on and off...need to get down to it and practice on my machine. I look forward to seeing how your piece turns out, beads etc. :-)

Slow Stitching Sunday

  I am on a scroll roll.  This is the second one I started this week.  I love the soft romantic feel of these pieces.  I love working with bright and cheerful colours but occasionally I have to play with a different set of colours.   These scrolls are coming together faster than I thought they would.  That also feels good.   Sometimes I need a project that can be completed quickly.
