Learned something new

I have been working on my bead journal for March.  I am pleased with the way it is coming along.  I went searching for through my stash and came across these grey flower beads.  Grey flowers!!!  Not on anything of mine!  I started pondering how to add color and came across my Smooch Inks.  Then I actually read the instructions to see if the color would be permanent on plastic.  Yep, and on fabric as well.  What a pleasant surprise.  Further exploration down this path will be necessary.

    Boosting color to those buttons is a winner!i paint mostly on fabric so i love that an ink can be versatile. Thank you for sharing your investigations!

Slow Stitching Sunday

  I am on a scroll roll.  This is the second one I started this week.  I love the soft romantic feel of these pieces.  I love working with bright and cheerful colours but occasionally I have to play with a different set of colours.   These scrolls are coming together faster than I thought they would.  That also feels good.   Sometimes I need a project that can be completed quickly.
