Some Experimenting

I enjoy experimenting especially when I get pleasing results.  This piece I created the butterflies from some of my macro photographs.  I painted the background fabric.  I stitched the butterflies down with metallic threads.  Fun!

Slow Stitching Sunday

  I am on a scroll roll.  This is the second one I started this week.  I love the soft romantic feel of these pieces.  I love working with bright and cheerful colours but occasionally I have to play with a different set of colours.   These scrolls are coming together faster than I thought they would.  That also feels good.   Sometimes I need a project that can be completed quickly.
