Take a Stitch Tuesday

Doing the Fancy Bobbin Edging stitch this week was a great reminder.  I enjoyed doing it again.  I haven't done anything fancy with it but I did use a gorgeous Kreinik thread.  In working these stitches I am either doing them on handmade paper or a crazy quilt I created a few years ago.  I felt the quilt was good at the time but now I see room for more stitching and improvement.

Slow Stitching Sunday

  I am on a scroll roll.  This is the second one I started this week.  I love the soft romantic feel of these pieces.  I love working with bright and cheerful colours but occasionally I have to play with a different set of colours.   These scrolls are coming together faster than I thought they would.  That also feels good.   Sometimes I need a project that can be completed quickly.
