I am still plugging away at the journal prompts

I am not super impressed with this page but I am impressed that I got it done.  Yay me!  This week has been exceptionally busy for me and not much art is getting made.  A lot of my energy has gone into writing a proposal for an artist in residence.  I am super excited about the proposal and I am hoping and praying that I get it!  All prayers and loving thoughts in this regard are gratefully accepted!

    Oh, yes, prayers for you and the artist in residence program! Your journal page reminds me of dying fabrics. Any art is better than no art, which sounds like might have happened if you hadn't been persistent!

Slow Stitching Sunday

  I am on a scroll roll.  This is the second one I started this week.  I love the soft romantic feel of these pieces.  I love working with bright and cheerful colours but occasionally I have to play with a different set of colours.   These scrolls are coming together faster than I thought they would.  That also feels good.   Sometimes I need a project that can be completed quickly.
