Take a Stitch Tuesday

Sharon B shows us the Linked Chain stitch this week.  I know I have done it before but it felt like the first time.  Pretty sure I haven't used it since the last time Sharon showed us how to do it.  That happens a lot actually.  If I don't really love the stitch it gets forgotten about.  Sometimes that happens with the stitches that I really like too!

    A crazy quilt project is the perfect place to use, and use again, the various stitches. It might be an idea to add three stitches each time, a new one, a less new one and one you learned a year ago or so.
    Great work anyway!

Slow Stitching Sunday

  I am on a scroll roll.  This is the second one I started this week.  I love the soft romantic feel of these pieces.  I love working with bright and cheerful colours but occasionally I have to play with a different set of colours.   These scrolls are coming together faster than I thought they would.  That also feels good.   Sometimes I need a project that can be completed quickly.
