Dyeing Fun!

Oh my gosh!  I have so much fun with dyeing fabrics.  I haven't played like this for a while but I am delighted with my results.  The piece on the left is done on cotton with Dye-na-flo paints to create sunprints.  I used some bicycle gears to create the marks.  So fun!  The other pieces are silk.  Yummy!

    Now that is what I should be doing with my bicycle gears. Much better than reattaching the chain miles from home.

Slow Stitching Sunday

  I am on a scroll roll.  This is the second one I started this week.  I love the soft romantic feel of these pieces.  I love working with bright and cheerful colours but occasionally I have to play with a different set of colours.   These scrolls are coming together faster than I thought they would.  That also feels good.   Sometimes I need a project that can be completed quickly.
