Take a Stitch Tuesday

The Chain Shell stitch is explained by Sharon B for this week's Take a Stitch Tuesday.  I added it to this butterfly using Razzle Dazzle thread by Ricky Timms.  This is a simple stitch but I have not used it much.  So many stitches so little stitching time!

    Oh, I have forgotten so many of the TAST stitches, their names and instructions. I wish I had the time to repeat and make use of them. MaybeI need to make another sampler. Where will I find the time...
    Enough about me, butterflies are often very decorative so they are a good place to use the TAST stitches. Yours are very neat and nice.

Slow Stitching Sunday

  I am on a scroll roll.  This is the second one I started this week.  I love the soft romantic feel of these pieces.  I love working with bright and cheerful colours but occasionally I have to play with a different set of colours.   These scrolls are coming together faster than I thought they would.  That also feels good.   Sometimes I need a project that can be completed quickly.
