Work in Progress Wednesday

I have made some progress on my May bead journal.  I added some silk ribbon embroidery and of course some more beads.  I was beyond excited last week when I found the motherload of silk ribbon at a thrift store.  I felt obliged to use some of it immediately to justify my purchase.  I am pleased with the way this piece is progressing.

    I like what you did with the spoon, and the sparkly bits are very good with the silk ribbon.

Slow Stitching Sunday

  I am on a scroll roll.  This is the second one I started this week.  I love the soft romantic feel of these pieces.  I love working with bright and cheerful colours but occasionally I have to play with a different set of colours.   These scrolls are coming together faster than I thought they would.  That also feels good.   Sometimes I need a project that can be completed quickly.
