Further embellishment

I was inspired to go further with this piece.  Last week I posted about it and Carin, a very sweet blog follower, commented.  Her comment sparked another idea in my head.  I added some more leaf prints to it.  Now I am thinking I will hand quilt this.

    Now there are even more leaves floating on the pond - it must be autumn?! Pour on the embroidery, and spill out the beads, too, Angela.

Slow Stitching Sunday

  I am on a scroll roll.  This is the second one I started this week.  I love the soft romantic feel of these pieces.  I love working with bright and cheerful colours but occasionally I have to play with a different set of colours.   These scrolls are coming together faster than I thought they would.  That also feels good.   Sometimes I need a project that can be completed quickly.
