Work in Progress Wednesday

I suppose some would not consider organizing work in progress.  Organizing is definite part of my process.  I really quite enjoy it.  This week I have been organizing some of my silk threads.  I find that when they are in a skein I passover using them.  I decided to put them on bobbins so that I would actually use them.  I ran out of the little cardboard bobbins and did a search for what else I could use.  I came across some good ideas but none that I was keen to use.  I kept pondering the idea and came up with using old playing cards.  It is working really well.

  1. Loving the new use for playing cards. Your colours are just beautiful!

  2. Of course it is progress, and it must have been bliss to play with these beautiful threads. Playing cards are just stiff enough to wind with threads.

  3. Clean up and preparation are very important, and definitely are part of the work in progress.
