Work in Progress Wednesday

I added some more beading to this piece.  I also used some Kreinik iron on thread for the edge.  I have not used that thread previously.  I am pleased with the way it finishes the piece and that it adheres really well to the paper.  I think it just needs a bit more beading near the outer edge.

Plus a little up date.  I am pleased to say that my  art bra has been published in Stitch magazine, the August/September issue.  It is always exciting when someone else likes my work.

    Congratulations on being featured in Stitch magazine, they have good taste!
    I have never heard of iron on thread but it seems to work well, on paper, at least. It's a beautiful Mandala.

Slow Stitching Sunday

  I am on a scroll roll.  This is the second one I started this week.  I love the soft romantic feel of these pieces.  I love working with bright and cheerful colours but occasionally I have to play with a different set of colours.   These scrolls are coming together faster than I thought they would.  That also feels good.   Sometimes I need a project that can be completed quickly.
