Work in Progress Wednesday

Using an old doily, that I dyed, as the base I created this bead journal for September.  So, not typical of my colors.  I do like the autumn theme though.  I have so much fun with my bead journals.  The ideas just keep coming.

    That's a beautiful fall inspired piece! What a great use of a crochet doily. I love the color you used to dye the doily, the bead colors you picked were in perfect harmony.

Slow Stitching Sunday

  I am on a scroll roll.  This is the second one I started this week.  I love the soft romantic feel of these pieces.  I love working with bright and cheerful colours but occasionally I have to play with a different set of colours.   These scrolls are coming together faster than I thought they would.  That also feels good.   Sometimes I need a project that can be completed quickly.
