I am a winner!

I am feeling ever so blessed this week.  I follow Grumbacher Art Supplies on Facebook.  Every Monday they give away a box of art supplies to five of their followers who comment.  This week I was picked.  The box arrived yesterday!  Talk about fast!  Ink, markers, charcoal pencils, paint and paint brushes were in the box.  So generous!  I look forward to playing with it all.

Also, this week I found out I was chosen to be the Artist in Residence with Kwartzlab for October through to December.  Pretty exciting!  I plan to put the laser cutter to good use.  Cutting my own stencils and experimenting with sheer fabric are on the agenda.

I wonder what good thing is coming next!

Slow Stitching Sunday

  I am on a scroll roll.  This is the second one I started this week.  I love the soft romantic feel of these pieces.  I love working with bright and cheerful colours but occasionally I have to play with a different set of colours.   These scrolls are coming together faster than I thought they would.  That also feels good.   Sometimes I need a project that can be completed quickly.
