Work in Progress Wednesday

I have not had a lot of time for stitching lately.  I managed to find a few minutes to work on my silk on silk dragonfly.  It actually looks a little sloppy to me.  I am not super happy with the way this looks.  Possibly I will add some more stitching to it, when I can find a few more minutes!

    It sounds to me that you are stressed about this dragonfly. Why don't you shelf it for the time being and return working on it again when you have more time?

    I love dragonflies so I hope you do find time to come back to it. Sometimes all a project needs is a few more stitches and looking at it with fresh eyes.

Slow Stitching Sunday

  I am on a scroll roll.  This is the second one I started this week.  I love the soft romantic feel of these pieces.  I love working with bright and cheerful colours but occasionally I have to play with a different set of colours.   These scrolls are coming together faster than I thought they would.  That also feels good.   Sometimes I need a project that can be completed quickly.
