Work in Progress Wednesday

I am still working on my little silk book.  I wasn't thrilled with the dragonfly I stitched on the last page so the book sat not being stitched for a while.  I am not one to give up permanently on a project though.  I am back at it with my hand dyed silk thread and butterfly motif this time.  Silk thread on silk fabric feels so luscious!

Slow Stitching Sunday

  I am on a scroll roll.  This is the second one I started this week.  I love the soft romantic feel of these pieces.  I love working with bright and cheerful colours but occasionally I have to play with a different set of colours.   These scrolls are coming together faster than I thought they would.  That also feels good.   Sometimes I need a project that can be completed quickly.
