Let the Crazy Quilting begin

Last year I took a break from the Crazy Quilt Journal Project.  I thought a lot about whether I would sign up for it this year.  I decided in the affirmative.  This is my January block.  My plan for the first four months of the year is to incorporate a bead journal project from a previous year.  These four blocks will then be stitched together.  I don't have a plan for the rest of year as yet.

    Sounds like a good idea. Crazy quilting will make the centre piece even more beady and pretty!

Slow Stitching Sunday

  I am on a scroll roll.  This is the second one I started this week.  I love the soft romantic feel of these pieces.  I love working with bright and cheerful colours but occasionally I have to play with a different set of colours.   These scrolls are coming together faster than I thought they would.  That also feels good.   Sometimes I need a project that can be completed quickly.
