Work in Progress Wednesday

My stitch a day project is coming along nicely.  I am really enjoying it.  I am trying and learning new things.  That always feels good to me.  This little piece will be full of thirty one flowers by the end of the month.

    I always wanted to try ribbon embroidery, but never got to it. Your ribbon flowers blends beautifully with your embroidered flowers. This project must be a joy to stitch. Very lovely.

Slow Stitching Sunday

  I am on a scroll roll.  This is the second one I started this week.  I love the soft romantic feel of these pieces.  I love working with bright and cheerful colours but occasionally I have to play with a different set of colours.   These scrolls are coming together faster than I thought they would.  That also feels good.   Sometimes I need a project that can be completed quickly.
