Take a Stitch Tuesday and 1 Stitch a day


The Alternating Up and Down Buttonhole stitch is the stitch Sharon B shows us this week.  I have pictured mine from the first time I tried it.  This is a nice looking stitch and I need to remember to use it more often!
The top photo is from my stitch a day project.  It is early in the month so not a lot to see just yet.  I am having fun with it though!

    I love how you have mirror the dye print with the Fly Stitch!
    You always make such nice kaleidoscope designs.

    I like the project for your Stitch a Day. The buttonhole stitch is interesting I think I'll try that one. Happy Stitching

Slow Stitching Sunday

  I am on a scroll roll.  This is the second one I started this week.  I love the soft romantic feel of these pieces.  I love working with bright and cheerful colours but occasionally I have to play with a different set of colours.   These scrolls are coming together faster than I thought they would.  That also feels good.   Sometimes I need a project that can be completed quickly.
