April Crazy quilt Block

I am not completely happy with this block now that I am looking at a photo of it.  That lace is still bothering me.  However, I think it can be fixed.  Once this block is sewn to the other three blocks I think it will all come together.  On a positive note, these colours make me really happy.

    I think it is looking good. Keep it as it is and when you have stitched all blocks together take another look. If you still think the lace looks striking, you can weave some threads or strings in and out of the holes of the lace....

Slow Stitching Sunday

  I am on a scroll roll.  This is the second one I started this week.  I love the soft romantic feel of these pieces.  I love working with bright and cheerful colours but occasionally I have to play with a different set of colours.   These scrolls are coming together faster than I thought they would.  That also feels good.   Sometimes I need a project that can be completed quickly.
