Journal Prompt #13

'Some days you need to create your own sunshine.'  This quote speaks to me of being proactive.  I like to think of myself as proactive.  I am not one to sit around waiting for someone to make me happy.    I choose to fill my days with beauty.  Even when dealing with serious life issues there are ways to create joy and sunshine.

    In a sense we need to create our own sunshine EVERY day.
    This quote made me think of Mark Twain: The best way to cheer up is to cheer someone else up.

Slow Stitching Sunday

  I am on a scroll roll.  This is the second one I started this week.  I love the soft romantic feel of these pieces.  I love working with bright and cheerful colours but occasionally I have to play with a different set of colours.   These scrolls are coming together faster than I thought they would.  That also feels good.   Sometimes I need a project that can be completed quickly.
