Work in Progress Wednesday

Stitching on my crazy quilt block for April.  I am not too sure about the placement of that lace.  It is probably going to have to move.  I can hardly believe that it is April and this is the last month that I have anything definite planned for my CQJP.  I am leaning towards doing a CQ book.  I think someone else participating in the project is doing a book and I really like that idea.

    I am sure the lace can stay, but it might have to be balanced with some heavy embroidery on another seam, and in a light colour...

    Maybe if you added some beads to the lace... that might help balance it out. The beaded circle is so pretty.

Slow Stitching Sunday

  I am on a scroll roll.  This is the second one I started this week.  I love the soft romantic feel of these pieces.  I love working with bright and cheerful colours but occasionally I have to play with a different set of colours.   These scrolls are coming together faster than I thought they would.  That also feels good.   Sometimes I need a project that can be completed quickly.
