Making Progress

I will persevere.  I will get this little quilt finished.  I will make it look good!  I created some 'rocks' with tyvek and stitched a few of them onto this quilt.  I am pleased with the placement on the lower part.  The right side of the waterfalls isn't quite right.  I think the rocks need to be smaller and possibly lighter in color and the placement isn't quite right.  Good thing they are not stitched down.  I can make this work!

    I love this! Your water is perfect - how did you make it? Is it thread? The rocks are a great addition. You're right about the left side, maybe just some color? Same with the water pool. What you have so far is fantastic!

    It is now far betten than when the tree grew there. Yes, you CAN make it into a truly fantastic quilt!

Slow Stitching Sunday

  I am on a scroll roll.  This is the second one I started this week.  I love the soft romantic feel of these pieces.  I love working with bright and cheerful colours but occasionally I have to play with a different set of colours.   These scrolls are coming together faster than I thought they would.  That also feels good.   Sometimes I need a project that can be completed quickly.
