May/June bead journal

I am happy with the way this bead journal is coming along.  I excuse myself from producing two bead journals for May and June.  I really do like to stay on top of projects but I don't want to rush this one.  There is still a bit more to do on this one, almost there!

    This really is a kaleidoscope; not only have you placed the beading evenly and regularly, but the dyed fabric has a nice evenness, too. Don't rush it, enjoy it.

Slow Stitching Sunday

  I am on a scroll roll.  This is the second one I started this week.  I love the soft romantic feel of these pieces.  I love working with bright and cheerful colours but occasionally I have to play with a different set of colours.   These scrolls are coming together faster than I thought they would.  That also feels good.   Sometimes I need a project that can be completed quickly.
