Take a Stitch Tuesday

My Woven Trellis Stitch is a bit wonky.    The one on the right looks more like a flower than the one on the left.  It is not the end of the world and I can live with the imperfection.  I am so glad that I had the time to participate in Sharon B's Take a Stitch Tuesday this week!

    I think the Woven Trellis Stitch is a tricky one - you need to weave with even tension. The result is very 'natural' and because of its rich look can be used for many things. The left flower might be a Cross Flower?

Slow Stitching Sunday

  I am on a scroll roll.  This is the second one I started this week.  I love the soft romantic feel of these pieces.  I love working with bright and cheerful colours but occasionally I have to play with a different set of colours.   These scrolls are coming together faster than I thought they would.  That also feels good.   Sometimes I need a project that can be completed quickly.
