Journal Week #32

The prompt this week was to create a page with hearts.  I wasn't particularly inspired.  The background is paper that I dyed a number of years ago.  I like the way the paper turned out but just never got around to using it so it was about time!  I used Gelatos to create the heart.  The quote I used says 'Follow your passion, listen to your heart, make every day a celebration of your vision and soul.' R. Pickens

    Yes, I think we should be led by our hearts, to a healthy extent, that is. Stalking and Crimes of Passion avoided at all cost.
    Hearts are always great design elements, not only for what they stand for, but also the shape with the curvy rounds and sharp tip.

Slow Stitching Sunday

  I am on a scroll roll.  This is the second one I started this week.  I love the soft romantic feel of these pieces.  I love working with bright and cheerful colours but occasionally I have to play with a different set of colours.   These scrolls are coming together faster than I thought they would.  That also feels good.   Sometimes I need a project that can be completed quickly.
