Journal Prompt #39

The prompt this week was to use three colours.  Pink, purple and blue were my choices.  I wish I wouldn't have put the dragonfly smack dab in the middle, that was a poor choice.  Oh well, not the end of the world.  I decided against putting a quote on this page.

    In MY opinion the dragonfly's placement, slightly off centre, is just perfect.

    I have always enjoyed that color palette...and I adore dragonflies. This is quite stunning to me.

Slow Stitching Sunday

  I am on a scroll roll.  This is the second one I started this week.  I love the soft romantic feel of these pieces.  I love working with bright and cheerful colours but occasionally I have to play with a different set of colours.   These scrolls are coming together faster than I thought they would.  That also feels good.   Sometimes I need a project that can be completed quickly.
