Not quite finished

I have been creating a fabric book based on leaves and trees.  With this page, I have been playing with transfer foil, paint, stencils and masks.  I am starting to like where this is going but there definitely needs something else.

    I have just been reading about the Japanese artist Yayoi Kusama and her dotted art.
    Autumn is the best time to be inspired to create 'leafy art'.

Slow Stitching Sunday

  I am on a scroll roll.  This is the second one I started this week.  I love the soft romantic feel of these pieces.  I love working with bright and cheerful colours but occasionally I have to play with a different set of colours.   These scrolls are coming together faster than I thought they would.  That also feels good.   Sometimes I need a project that can be completed quickly.
