Making a bead journal more important

I created this quilt top with some lovely batiks but it wasn't anything special.  So it sat unfinished for years.  When a friend suggested I stitch my bead journals to something else to make them larger and therefore more important I thought it was a brilliant idea.  I will have this one completed in no time!

    You know, batik and beads is not a bad combination!
    You could also call this pieced background a 'collage' and decorate it with cq seams.
    Great shading.

Slow Stitching Sunday

  I am on a scroll roll.  This is the second one I started this week.  I love the soft romantic feel of these pieces.  I love working with bright and cheerful colours but occasionally I have to play with a different set of colours.   These scrolls are coming together faster than I thought they would.  That also feels good.   Sometimes I need a project that can be completed quickly.
