Playing with Colour

Oil pastel on fabric landscape.  Clearly not high realism!  High realism will never be my thing but I do love a good landscape.  I can't wait to do some hand stitching on this.  My goal is to get this finished in time to enter it in a local miniature quilt show.

    Did you colour with crayons, set with a hot iron and wash it?

Slow Stitching Sunday

  I am on a scroll roll.  This is the second one I started this week.  I love the soft romantic feel of these pieces.  I love working with bright and cheerful colours but occasionally I have to play with a different set of colours.   These scrolls are coming together faster than I thought they would.  That also feels good.   Sometimes I need a project that can be completed quickly.
