Stitch a day for November

Okay, this tree is done and enjoyed stitching it.  I am also looking forward to starting my December stitch a day project.  I often completely fill my tree shape whether it be with beads or stitches however I did not want to do that this time.  I wanted to be able to see the background fabric as I really like the transfer foil I added to it.

  1. Thanks so much for the comment on my blog. I like the metallic foiling too. Is this the sort that is applied after ironing down a heat activated adhesive (Wonder Under, Misty Fuse, or something like that)? Susan

  2. Yes, it is that sort of foil. I love the shine it gives!

  3. When I see your tree I think I am looking out my window - there is a camellia tree (well bush, really) where the buds are opening into flowers as splendid as yours. Unfortunately we don't have any 'foiled' background!
