Journal Page

The theme for February is ‘Recycle, Repurpose, Reuse’.  I went through my bits and pieces to find what would go together.  An ice dyed coffee filter, an acrylic skin and a photocopy of bead journal all jumped out at me.  The background is a piece of paper that I had used to clean off my paint brush.  I added a bit more paint and some stenciling to it.

    What fun that you made something so wonderful from what was really going to go in the trash at someone else's house! That's the kind of recycling I love!

Slow Stitching Sunday

  I am on a scroll roll.  This is the second one I started this week.  I love the soft romantic feel of these pieces.  I love working with bright and cheerful colours but occasionally I have to play with a different set of colours.   These scrolls are coming together faster than I thought they would.  That also feels good.   Sometimes I need a project that can be completed quickly.
