Beading

Last week I was inspired by Norma at http://notesfromnorma.blogspot.ca/  She submitted suns to the CBS Sunday Morning show and they put them on air.  I enjoy watching that show and had been thinking about sending some of my sun images.  So fresh with the inspiration I whipped up this beaded sun.  I have submitted it to CBS and will wait to hear back from them but I understand it can take months.

    As I am reading this and looking at your sun, the 'real' sun is just rising and I don't know which is more beautiful!
    I am still impressed with the amount of beads you must have in each single colour.

Slow Stitching Sunday

  I am on a scroll roll.  This is the second one I started this week.  I love the soft romantic feel of these pieces.  I love working with bright and cheerful colours but occasionally I have to play with a different set of colours.   These scrolls are coming together faster than I thought they would.  That also feels good.   Sometimes I need a project that can be completed quickly.
