Take a Stitch Tuesday

I have added the Rice Stitch to my piece.  I used some knitting yarn in the lower left.  I think it looks pretty cool.  I also used pearl cotton and some DMC metallic thread in the others.  I am excited to try Sharon B's beyond TAST challenge.  I have an idea as to what I want to do but I haven't decided on the stitch I will use to layer.

    Rice Stitch is a great way to add interest to the Cross Stitch. I think Sharon's idea for Beyond TAST to pile stitches on top of other stitches is very creative. I want to give it a try, but is there time?

Slow Stitching Sunday

  I am on a scroll roll.  This is the second one I started this week.  I love the soft romantic feel of these pieces.  I love working with bright and cheerful colours but occasionally I have to play with a different set of colours.   These scrolls are coming together faster than I thought they would.  That also feels good.   Sometimes I need a project that can be completed quickly.
