Work in Progress Wednesday

It occurs to me that I have never posted about the finish of this quilt.  I finished it last year and had it hang at a show in St. Jacobs this spring.  I started this quilt many years ago and I am trying to not be critical of it now that I have learned and grown.

Wow! I think this is a fantastic quilt, and very unusual for being a crazy quilt as most blocks have pieces of straight rectangles and squares. It is a marriage between traditional pieces blocks and cq embellishments. Also you have used ribbon in a clever way making some blocks look like gift wrapped presents. This could be a Christmas quilt showing what's underneath the tree. Just beautiful!
Beautiful crazy, I love your ribbon work. Great stitches!
