Oh yes, much happier with this butterfly now. There is still a lot of colour happening, but now it feels interesting, not garish. I used some of my sari silk yarn by couching it down. It helped to pull things together. I am not quite sure about the three little roses I added at the top right. It would be easy to remove them. What do you think? There are a lot of interestingly textured fabrics in this piece. Texture is always good! I think that is what draws me to working with fabric, the wonderful textures.
